Biography

Quinn Lubbe started his film and television journey studying Motion Picture Production at the Tshwane University of Technology. While completing his B-Tech degree in 2010 he joined The Film Factory’s post-production team, FiX Post Production, and was involved in numerous television, film, commercial, and corporate projects over the following 5 years.

His experience at both The Film Factory and FiX Post Production helped him gain a firm grasp of both the importance of artistic interpretation of great ideas as well as the execution of a seamless production and post-production process. Over the following 10 years he was involved in some of South Africa’s most notable feature films and series.

Quinn combines his knowledge and experience in both editing and music to craft engaging narratives, with one skill naturally complementing the other. Understanding how the rhythm and emotional engagement of a story can be supported and enhanced by music and how to compose and edit music to do this is a unique skill that he can bring to your production.
